B.A. in Social Sciences with a Concentration in Psychology
Alumna, Class of 2002
Stacy Lauren Musi is a rising star in the world of executive search and recruiting. After a career in the financial services industry, she joined New York City-based retained executive search firm Chadick Ellig in 1994. During her tenure there, the Brooklyn native achieved a record of success, placing senior managers in the financial, business, and consumer services industries. It wasn’t long before her bosses took notice of her potential and her productivity, and began grooming her for a leadership position at the firm. But, one thing was missing from her résumé—a college degree.
So Musi, with her company’s support, returned to school at the NYU School of Professional Studies Paul McGhee Division. She attended classes part-time, in the evenings and on weekends—even attending school during the summers—for four years, all the while maintaining a busy work schedule that included frequent business travel.
Musi graduated summa cum laude in January 2002, earning a B.A. in Social Sciences, with a concentration in psychology. Graduating with a 4.0 GPA, she received the NYU Wallace Gobetz Memorial Award for scholastic achievement and was elected to the Alpha Sigma Lambda National Honor Society. Soon after, Musi was promoted to managing director at Chadick Ellig and is now one of three partners leading the firm.
